We met when Tom was in the Marines and stationed in Japan. We fell in love and before he left Japan we got married in the city building in front of a little Japanese lady that didn't speak English. The only thing we understood was, "sign here". Tom spent all his money moving us back to Camp Pendleton, California. I was soon pregnant with our first child and while in the military we could never save up enough money for a "real" wedding. Time went on and we had our second child. Tom was injured and discharged from the Marines. At that time we packed up and moved so we could start a new life. Tom started college with a two kids, a part-time job and 18 credit hour semesters. Right before graduating we had our son. It's going to be 10 great years in January. We have always dreamed of a "real" wedding with our family and friends together to celebrate our love. To have our kids be part of our wedding party and to see us renew our vows would make it even more special. It would be great to finally wear a wedding dress and have our photos taken. So we can have those memories, although 10 years later, forever. We've been through thick and thin and our love is still strong. We are together forever and all eternity. It would be my dream come true because this is every little girl's dream. It's kind of sad when I have nothing to show my girls from our wedding. When I see other people's beautiful wedding photos or dresses I get a little depressed. For us, this wedding would be a luxury. We would be the luckiest couple in the world to win and would not take it for granted. If we don't win we are still winners because we have each other and we have our beautiful family.
