WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS RED CARPET!!

Sooooooooo coooooooool!!!!! Not only did i get to host the RED CARPET Hollywood premeire of the NEW ASHTON KUSTCHER and CAMERONS DIAZ movie "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS", but i also got to see it! DATE MOVIE?!!??!?! yes! funny? YES! good standard amount of skin shown?!?!!? FO SHO! One of my favoriute comedians was in it, ROB CORDRRY..... WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS is a fun story that made me no doubt VERY nostalgic about many crazy times in VEGAS. THIS WEEKEND: SEE THIS MOVIE!

WOW! I AUDITIONED FOR A TV SHOW LAST NIGHT!  

So because I have my lil daughter I have a different mindset than a lot of people that are in show business. What I mean by that is that I am more focused on being a father so trying to be on TV and venturing farther out of my radio comfort zone isn't something I necessarily want or need to do. HOWEVER, when my phone rings and there is opportunity at the other end, I never say no :) So a contact I have at MTV told me about this new show called Rock the Cradle that will be debuting in April on MTV. Basically, they need a host. Since I'm on the radio already some casting people just assume that I have some ok broadcasting skills that will translate into some TV work... it's a smart assumption but it adds pressure to your boy!  

So there I was.... sitting in a room full of SUPER good looking guys and girls... I felt the LEAST attractive by far.... I cant say I care much though since I pride myself on my personality and not my crooked smile :)  

When I was called into read for the position I walked into what seemed like a room where lots of TV is and has been shot.... lots of sound proofing and it seemed very dark..... There was one light shining on the spot where I was supposed to stand and there was a camera right of that spot.... this cool guy Billie held up some cue cards and as I looked off into the shadows there was probably about 2 people standing there watching my every move.... ADDRENALINE WAS BLAZIN AT THAT POINT!!!!  

Ok... so I did the best I could and let me tell you, when you read a line and someone watching you say something like, "NICE", or "good read", YOU START TRIPPPIN! You're like. "What???? Nice?? Good read??? holy crap I think they like me!!!" ... dude... ur mind starts going into overload and it all feels so close and you almost start telling yourself that if you finish this thing strong you might actually have a shot at this gig!!!!!  

And then it's over. And my phone hasn't rang once. crazy, but just like anything I'm glad I got the experience because maybe next time I'll be even that much more comfy doin' my thing....

Holy smokesssssssss! (YES, im bringin that back.) I have never been to HAWAII so as u can imagine i am sooo bummed to be home!~ What an amazing place..

So basically i was invited ti preview the new Jodie Foster movie NIM'S ISLAND... Abigal Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and Gerard Butler (300) are also in the movie and your boy got to sit down and interview em all!!!! COMING SOON, BTJ - THE HAWAII WEBISODE. there was lots of press there and most were TV outlets like extra Fox, blha bla blha.... all the interviews were set-up TV style so i got some pretty legit footage of me talking to the stars of what my daughter called "THE BESTEREST MOVIE EVER!!"

Savannah and I were only there for a couple days so we too full advantage of the BEACHery@@@!!!!!

We went to this insane LUAU on Saturday night and while i waited for out tatsy plate lunch style meals, i ate almost an entire bag of honey roasted Macadamia nutssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yum!!!!!!!!

Most of the performers in the show during the LUAU made me feel like I need to go to the gym more but the second i stopped thinking that i continued to shovel fried chicked in my mouth:)

THE NEXT DAY Savannah got to pet live stingrays and walk around in there lil pond thingy.... so yeah, basically the JW Marriot in Hawaii is my new lil save haven for all things dope and relaxing, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I MISSSS IT!!!!!

oh!!!!!!! and i forgot to mention.... i got way too SUNBURNED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

well.... that's i guess how ya blog about a 2 day hawaii trip.. short and sweet!!!
