Batman Selling Out Already???

So The Dark Knight, the follow up movie to Batman Begins is comin out on July 18th, and I heard that pre sale tickets are going FAST! According to Fandango (I love their commercials with those dancing lunch bags).

I admit, I don't quite understand this whole Batman thing now.  Very confusing.  I thought Joker came out in the first Batman, so how is he in this one?  Hmmm...I'm lost, but I'll probably see it anyway, and I'll be showing up in some glow in the dark Batman PJ's.
