I did a special dinner in her back porch. I fixed her porch with red curtains and tried to recreate the day I asked her to be my girlfriend; candles, cider (again no alcohol), red roses, and good Italian cuisine. It was nice to be outside with my love, ones again showing her that I still love her as much and even more than the beginning. It is very important for us to do things together to show our love for each other.
Your PERFECT Engagement
After starting this contest we both are more focused on planning our wedding. As we started this contest we had the plan to get married, but were still not engaged. On our 4 years and 6 months anniversary we were sitting in my living room
watching "The Notebook" movie. I had tears in eyes as I saw all the obsticles they had to overcome to be together. At the end the couple dies after a long life together. Dilmer was hugging me and told me, "Aurora wil you grow old with me?" I smiled and turned to look at him as I said, "Yes." He then said, "I dont think you realize what I'm asking you." With a puzzled and blank starr I looked at him and he said, "Will you marry me?" I was in shock and so excited at the same time. I started crying out of joy. I can't believe it, I'm finally engaged to the love of my life! I am so overwhelmed with happiness.
She's PERFECT because
She completes me...it may sound like a cliche but she is everything that I'm not. I find everything I want in her, and wouldn't change her for the world. There is just no way to describe what an amazing woman she is: she is strong, supportive, courageous, gorgeous, and well the list can go on forever. I can only say she is my lovely Queen that I love and adore.
He's PERFECT because
He is loving, caring, and he makes me laugh every day. I love how I fall everyday more and more in love with this woderful man. He is always there when I need him even in the worst situations. I cannot think of any other man being my perfect man. He is truly my prince charming.

We know that marriage takes a lot of commitment and work and we look forward to it. We want to live a happy long life together, with 2 children, and to never forget how much our love for each other is. Like the vows goes, “for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

Our twin flame They say that soulmates have a deep connection in every way. Dilmer is what many would call a soulmate, my soulmate.Our bond is naturally very stong as we are deeply in love, we are each others best friend, and hold a strong emotional connection. There are unexplainable synchronization between me and him: we finish each others sentences, know what the other is thinking with just one look, and when we wish the other would call a surprise call comes in as if we called each other with our thoughts. I believe we surpass soulmates to be twin flames. Twin flames find each other because together they are a perfect match, fate brings them together. We give each other harmony, happiness, fullfilment, and acceptance. Not because he is my twin flame it means that there will be no problems faced, rather it means that there will be no barrier that we can't overcome together. We are each other strenght, passion, and life. Love does great things, but it is even better when you know you have fallen in love with your perfect half.

High School Visit Today after the interview we went to our high school (where our love story began) to tell our old Army JROTC instructors the good news....they where very supportive and offered to spread the word for people to vote for us. They are awesome! The first thing they said was, "It is time for you two to get married" I love going back an visiting them; as I go in I see what used to be Dilmer's and my desk, I get this little feeling as when I was a student there and started dating my love. When we told them about the interview they told us, "You guys should have come and gotten a set of military uniforms...so you can say this is how we met." It was a good idea, but too late. Anyways it feels great every time we go visit because it feels like turning back time to the beginning yet you can't believe how the future has become so great. Â
