John and I have been together since our Sr. prom. We have been through ups and downs, one of them being my move to Alaska to help my sister who had recently become a mother. We kept our relationship going through those tough 11 months. I had a great job and was on my way to a promotion and living on my own, when I decided that if I were to stay, my relationship would be over, and if I move where my heart wanted me to, I would be broke and struggling. As you can tell, I decided to go with my heart. Soon after my move, we wanted to start our lives together and start our family. I wont say that our pregnancy was planned, but we knew that we wanted this and we were as excited as any other expecting parents would be. We had our son in the summer of 2006, and I soon eagerly awaited my engagement ring. I was dissapointed when the new year came and still no ring. Then the weekend after Valentines day, my honey surprised me with a shakey hand and a beautiful ring. We would have set a date and started planning, however, we have no funds to do so. His parents can't help us, and neither can my mother. Until we can sae up our wedding dream will have to stay on hold. Everytime I ask for him if we can set a time-frame he counters with "if I only had the money, I would give you your dream wedding." We love each other and would love it if you could help us out!
