Not sure what I think about this.... the whole story sorta bummed me out on The Mayor. However I'm personally torn about how much personal life & politics should mix. There was an interesting update on the case this AM.

Telemundo reassigns mayor's girlfriend

By Duke Helfand and Meg James, Los Angeles Times Staff Writers September 25, 2007 Television newscaster Mirthala Salinas, who was suspended without pay for two months in August after her affair with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa became public, is scheduled to return to work Monday. But she won't be taking up her old job as a fill-in anchor on evening newscasts for KVEA-TV Channel 52.
Instead, executives with the Spanish-language Telemundo network confirmed Monday that Salinas would be sent to the station's Inland Empire bureau in Riverside as a general assignment reporter, a notable fall for a one-time rising star who has become one of the most recognizable faces in local Spanish-language television.

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is right around the corner!!!
Join Sisanie & Team KIIS. CLICK HERE for details. I've done AIDS Walk about 5 or 6 times. It's REALLY fun. It's only about 6 miles.... but everyone comes out to support the cause. There are teams for schools, work, and of course Team KIIS. You don't even feel like you're walking that far and there's music and breaks about every 3 blocks :) At the end you really feel like you made a difference and had a very productive weekend. If you can't walk - log onto the KIIS page and support Sisanie! Any amount of donations help.
It was cool - last month we did a Team KIIS Fund Raiser at DV8. We raised around $1000. Our Team is up to a great start!

Doesn't really look like a good prop for yoga does it?
So this weekend I had to "keep it movin' on Sunday & ditch my normal 10:30-Noon yoga class at Andrea Marcum's U Studio to go to another studio at 8:30AM. WTF?!?! I get there and they have us pull out about 1000 props. Blocks, blankets, straps, and a FOLDING chair.
Doesn't that just SOUND dangerous? Using a folding chair in yoga!? Well - it was!!! OK - look at that folding chair up there. Imagine me trying to put my legs through the hole, do a back bend, and then wiggle myself out. 1. NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL. Doing a backbend, on metal, hurts!!! And 2. I'm not some 90lb. bendy lil yoga princess.... trying to wiggle out of it I pulled a muscle in my back.
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!
Tough day at the yoga studio. However, I did keep it moving through out the day. I went to the "Yoga Walk" event at The Convention Center then hit up a Project Pat/Three 6 Maffia video shoot. More details on THAT in the KIISFM New Music Network Page.

I'm totally excited about Will I Am's new CD "Songs About Girls" droppin on Tuesday.
I'm even more excited about Friday at 5PM Will is coming into KIIS to track through the album, song by song, with JoJo!!! Heads up - so far my favorite song is "Ain't It Pretty." Will is SUCH a cool music head you never know what you'll learn - maybe he'll bust a freestyle... totally unpredictable but get set to hear cool music either way! CLICK HERE for more info on the CD.
