It was a totally good weekend.

I finally saw Knocked Up!  I loved it.  It was great to see Ryan Seacrest in the movie... and I laughed through the entire thang.

 I went to a benefit for Art Share L.A.!  It was a fundraiser to build a recording studio at that location.  Lots of performers.  Lots of artists.  I bought some really cool art!  Check it out -

The artist is super dope - I'd tell you his name... but that is super dope as well & I don't want to butcher it right here.  So here... I stood at Art Share looking at all the pics & this one totally appealed to me.  I love art that the more you look at it... the more things you notice.  This is an angel, dancing, with a cityscape behind her, and a crowd... and like fish swimming by.  RIGHT before I bought it I said to my friend "It is an angel... it's not a stripper right."  My girlfriend said - yep.  It's an angel.  SO THEN - I was so excited about it and the next day I showed one of my guy friends and he's said... "You bought a painting of a stripper!?!"  Don't care - still love it.

The final fun thing that happened this weekend was I found a new favorite song!  Check out "Complicated" by L.A. local artist Mateo feat. JL HERE:  I only listened to it 1000 times over the weekend.

Through Team KIIS we adopted a soldier in Iraq!  We send packages and letters every week... he emails us updated.  Personally I didn't know anybody in the war so it's really cool to try & spread the good vibes his way.  It's really easy & our soldier emails us back.  It seems like sending things really helps a lot.  It's an easy way to make a difference.

Last Thursday was really fun!!  For mentoring at A Place Called Home we threw a "G Rated" bachelor party for one of our FAVORITE mentors Jonathan!  He's getting married in Jamaica this week.  We had Virgin margaritas and had a gorilla, in a tutu, come to sing for him.  The Gorilla played the part of his ex-girlfriend trying to win him back.
