OK so i am actually really upset about this little contest, i spent lots of time trying to pick the best picture of my son and I feel that I picked a very nice picture. I actually looked for the things that the pictures were supossed to be judged on such as picture quality, originality, baby connecting with the camera, and ACTUAL CUTENESS. now when i cam online to see if my son got picked as a winner, I was expecting to see at least some really good pictures better than my sons, and i mean ALL babies are cute dont get me wrong but what about what the pictures were supposed to be voting on. I am sorry but those pictures look like they were just snapped and not even thought about and I think that is ridicualous for those pictures to win. I feel that they should have gone through some line of judging at the end in the KIIS studio to pick the cutest baby.SO I just want everyone to know how pissed I am about this and if there are any other moms out there like me let me know and tell me which number your baby was. My son is contestant #21 and I am mad.
I can totally understand where you are coming from. 1st may I say YOU DO have a very cute son! I like the black & white sepia tone effect... From what all I saw KIIS got like a gazillion submissions. It's kind of a catch 22. If you have someone judging, people may think that they are being slanted... So I believe the way the station conducted the contest was the most fairest way... Let the viewing/listening audience vote and pick the winner. When it comes down to it, it becomes a "popularity" contest... it's all about getting the word out and begging and pleading with friends, family, co-workers etc etc to go online to vote... Heck, if I entered the contest I probably wouldn't be able to get my mom to vote - cause she's so freaked out when it comes to computers and all... Don't feel bad because you didn't win... Your son made it to the "Final Round" (out of a gazillion submissions) - that should count for something (smile) - Peace out!
