The Chris Brown EXclusive CD review...

From the very minute that this CD starts with Throwed, you will be hooked on each track! (And maybe even start to grove a little, I know I did). Chris Brown has definitely shown a more mature side with Exclusive, especially with Take You Down, I Wanna Be and With You (which I hope becomes his next single!!!) With Take You Down, you get a little preview of his ability to make a girl swoon!

With You, is a really sweet song that is sure to be his next single, it shows off his sensitive side. He also sounds really sincere when he is singing lyrics like, "No one else would do, 'cause with every kiss and every hug, you make me fall in love", CB shows that he's got game, and isn't afraid to use it!

Exclusive also features some heavy hitters in the hip-hop world, such as T-Pain in Kiss Kiss, Will. i. am, Big Boi from Outkast, Lil Wayne, and if you get the CD with the bonus tracks, you can hear Game on Nice, and Kanye West on Down.

If there are Chris Brown fans out there that haven't heard Exclusive, you are missing out! Check it out for yourself, and let me know if you agree or agree to disagree with my review!!!

p.s. i forgot to say that he helped write 6 of the tracks for this CD!!!

Double Up Tour at the Forum in Los Angeles!

    By Kalyna Astrinos

J.Holiday, R.Kelly and Keisha Cole made a stop at the Forum in Los Angeles on Friday the 14, 2007 to grace the packed venue with their soulful tracks and BEAUTIFUL voices! The show kicked off promptly at 7:30pm and I promise you, the show kept on getter better and better....I honeslty didn't want it to end! The artists sang a number of their hit songs and kept the audience entertained throughout the entire night!

Although his set was short, J.Holiday DEFINETELY started the night off on the right foot. He had the ladies swooning during his performace of "Bed" and kept them screaming for more. Keisha Cole followed and truly capivated the audience with her voice singing songs like "Just Like You" and "I Remember." To say I was in awe with her voice is an understatement because I was speechless! Her voice was AMAZING! After Keisha Cole performed I didn't think it could get any better, but once R.Kelly stepped on stage it was all over! R. Kelly's 15 years of performing, making music, and entertaining truly shined through his humor, gratitude and presence.

Kelly started off his show with a punch and at the same time put a whole new meaning to the word BLING! He showed up in a decked out rhinestone hoodie that sparkled on every screen as he was being hustled through the crowd and finally to the stage which was cleverly transformed into a boxing ring. By his side were his super fit dancers, DJ's and the hundreds of females screaming for him throughout the night!

Even though his performaces were definetly for the mature adult, he had the crowd laughing the entire time with his mix of humor and charm. This quality was what made the show that much better since it highlighted his character and added a personal touch to each song. He even had a slide show at one of the breaks that thanked each of his heroes which included names like Ali, Tupac, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, AND himself! That's right, he included a picture of himself at age 8 and placed it along side the rest!

The night ended with Kelly and his entourage coming out on stage decked out from head to toe in super flashy versions of Charlie Chaplin-style suits. During his final song "Happy People," he invited a handful of lovely ladies to the stage and also called artist Tyrese out of the audience to join him in the festivities! The unity, love, laughter, connection and pure enjoyment of Kellys' performance cannot be denied and truly surpassed any expectation I had..... It was awesome!!!!!!!

New York, NY (October 5, 2007) -- To quote the first track of his upcoming album, Baby Bash is "Numero Uno."

Baby Bash is proving to be the surprise digital success story of the season with over 5.1 million profile views, Bash is now the #1 Latin artist on MySpace (and top 50 overall), despite the fact that his third album, Cyclone, is still four weeks from being released.

The album's title track, featuring T-Pain and produced by Lil Jon, has also amassed a combined 750,000 digital single and ring tone sales and is currently the #8 song on iTunes's hip-hop chart (#18 overall).

The "Cyclone" video, directed R. Malcom Jones (Lil' Mama's "Lip Gloss") and co-starring T-Pain, already has more than 1 million views on YouTube and was just added at MTV last week. Bash is promoting the clip on "Sucker Free Latino" on Wednesday, October 17th.

Due October 30 on Arista Records, the Cyclone album also includes strong follow up tracks "What Is It," featuring 2007 breakout star Sean Kingston and "Supa Chic" both produced by the red-hot J.R. Rotem.

Other guests include Keith Sweat on the sexy "Don't Stop," UGK's Pimp C on the gritty "Mean Mug," Aundrea from Danity Kane on the club banger "Dip With You," and Paula DeAnda, returning the favor after Bash wrote her 2006 smash "Doing Too Much."

Producer Happy Perez, the man behind Baby Bash's breakthrough single "Suga Suga" (featuring Frankie J), helmed the DeAnda collabo, "As Days Go By (The Love Letter)," while Timbaland protege Ryan Tedder (One Republic), Jim Jonsin, Felli Fell and Play N Skillz also contributed production to the eclectic collection.

Bash debuted on the scene with Tha Smokin' Nephew and the follow-up Super Saucy (a Top 10 debut), selling nearly 1 millions copies on the strength of infectious crossover singles like "Baby I'm Back" featuring Akon.

Wednesday Night checked out Mark Ronson at The El Ray

It was the Young Hollywood Hot Spot. Samantha Ronson, Nicole & Joel, Mischa Barton, Robbie Williams, and pretty much an entire fleet of paparrazzi were in the house.

It was a really cool show. Mark was dressed up in a suit playing in the band the whole time... I thought he might just be DJing. Kenna opened. Still one of my favorite CDs of the year!
