My Weekend Homecoming/SAW 4

    Sunday, October 28, 2007, 10:26 PM PST [ODM's Journal]

Saturday night was the long awaited Homecoming show at the Honda Center in Anaheim. I started out at the Pep Rally outside of the Honda Center. I got there about 6pm and began mingling with our listeners. After signing a couple of brocheure booklets, I got on the mic and rocked the Soulja Boy "Crank Dat" dance with EVERYONE!!! I was pretty much down in the pep rally for a good 30 minutes. The show started about 7pm and guess who was the opening hosts??? Sisanie and I!! We kicked it off with Sean Kingston and the rest was history. The show lasted about 4 hours long and I must say the highlight would of been Gwen Stefani coming off the stage and into jock lounge and singing 2 feet away from me!! She is so awesome and the cutest little thing as well. Very professional and truly LOVES her OC stomping grounds. All in all the show was a great turnout and hopefully there will be more Homecoming shows in the future!!

Sunday night I was off to see the long awaited SAW 4 movie. What can I say, it was another mystery movie that had me scratching my head once again leaving the theatre with questions...haha. I am not going to spoil it for you if you haven't watched it yet. I will say SAW 3 would have to be my most favorite though. This one didn't quite make me go "Whoaahh" such as 3 did.

Enjoy your week and catch you all at the WEHO Carnivale in West Hollywood for Hollaween!!!

    Homecoming show prep...

    Wednesday, October 24, 2007, 02:20 PM PST [ODM's Journal]

So tomorrow I will be filiming a little short testimony on camera for the Homecoming show this Saturday. All of the jocks have participated in this where the short videos will play in between sets. This year we are telling a little story about what our homecoming/HS days were like. This could be kind of simple cosidering I didn't get a chance to go to MY Homecoming. This will actually be my first Homecoming...lol. This will be kind of cool actually.

So look for your boy on the screen and listen for the crazy High School memories I have to tell all throughout the show.

If you have a High School moment or memory you would like to share with me comment me below and I will read it on air.

    My weekend

    Monday, October 22, 2007, 08:01 PM PST [ODM's Journal]

This weekend was the most exausting weekend but good times were shared. I flew out to Austin TX for my boy's birthday party. I hadn't seen him in over a couple of years and it was suppose to be a surprise that his gf was throwing for him. Well....I flew out of LAX airport to Houston TX (where I was suppose to catch my connecting flight) that didn't happen! The reason being is that I was on a "buddy ticket" which means standby all the way through to Austin. Well, what happened was is that all the flights from Houston to Austin were oversold. So the next available flight for me to get on wouldn't of been until the evening which would of made me late to his bday dinner. So.... I ended up renting a car and driving down to Austin (total drive time 3.5 hours). The drive wasn't that bad considering I only had 2 hrs of sleep the night before. This was going to be a long day. I had othe friends that were flying from out of town to Austing who also missed their flight. At this point, my boy's gf was on sitting on egg shells with the whole arrangment. What was suppose to start at 8pm ended up turning into a 1030 pm dinner. After all of that, it turns out it was worth the stress and time to see my boy's expression when he saw all of us old buddies at the dinner table waiting for his arrival. We ate, we laughed and talked about old times which brought back a lot of funny moments. All in all I spent no more than 24 hours there but had a good time hanging with my close friends.
Saturday night it was my GF's bday and the party continues...........it was a Pink and White attire event (what the heck?) I know what your thinking. Check for the pics soon haha. It was pretty stressful because unexpectedly I became in charge of the arrangements. I didn't have a problem with handling things at the club but it would of been nice to have some help from some of her friends. That didn't happen so I was all by myself making sure people were taken care of on stage where our table was. It was all worth it because it was her "big day". So Sunday I just chillaxed at the house and finally got my rest! Later on in the night, we I had PF Changs (yummm) for dinner and called it a night!
