Saturday morning , Dennis, Natalie and I took a little field trip down to Disneyland to check out the new Finding Nemo submarine ride! We were counting the hours since Friday after the show, that is how excited we were!

We bumped in to Suzy Tavarez, she was broadcatsing live from Disney. How cool is that right??

We were only supposed to chcek out the new ride and go home soon after, but once there we couldn't help ourselves...we park-hopped to California Adventure and jumped on California Soarin' (you know the simulated plane ride the flies over all California). As many times as I've  been on that ride, I still can't help myself to hold on to my seat in fear that I am going to fall down to. It's freaky!

But the best part of the day was heading to Disney's own mini vineyard- all 3 of us did a bit of wine tasting and paired it with a few cheeses, olives and yummy grapes!

 

I had to chance to go up to Napa Valley for Memorial Weekend. I flew to San Francsico to vist my boyfriend, and we decided to drive 30 minutes to Napa. I felt like a little girl going to Disneyland for the first time. I always thought of Napa as one of those places only "rich" people go to. Where I was raised from Napa is not even in the map, some people don't even get the chance to ever go to Disneyland.

As silly as it sounds, going to Napa was something that I never imagined doing. I still find it unbelievable at times that I am able to buy myself a pair of Betsey Johnson heels or the chance to get a round of drinks for my friends, or buy my mami a pair of jeans- let alone go to Napa to wine taste

I am totally not rolling in cash at all, but it really means alot to me that I can indulge in the small things. Things that were completely unreachable to me when I was younger.

I give thanks every morning and surprise myself every day, knowing that I am doing those little things that I only dreamed of- like working for KIIS! How great is that, right?

On a cooler note: I arrived to LAX totally craving King Taco. This time I drove to an ATM and pulled cash out; bought 2 burritos de asada- one for my mom and one for me. I love it when i come home with food for my mommy!

 

 

Just wanted to test this. On the way home I was really craving King Taco! I realized they don't accept bank cards! I reallly wasn't that hungry to stop at an ATM. I got home and I made some tacos de frijoles con queso y nopales..I callled my masterpiece Queen Taco!
