Today's Topic: Beating Around the Bush
Happy Friday everyone! I am soooo ready for the weekend, how about you? It's gonna be nice and HOT! Yeaaaaah.... So sometimes it's hard for us to say what's on our mind, riiiiiight? We've all done it; danced around the truth or our true feelings about something or someone. It seems that the older I get, the more confidence I gain to really say what's on my mind. What do I have to lose? I'd rather put myself out there then always wonder... what if? It's still really tough though, you don't want to feel stupid if the outcome is not what you wanted. Nobody wants to get rejected.
I'm a very blunt and get to the point type of person. When it comes to men I pretty much know right off the bat if I want to pursue them or not. If I do... then I will! Is confidence intimidating?.... ehhhhhh it probably is. However, I think in the end a man will want a confident, outspoken woman, rather than .... well the opposite of that. I just don't see the point in playing games or beating around the bush. It's just a waste of time and in my opinion shows weakness and insecurity. Let's have some fun, take some risks and free-fall. Hey... I'm not dead and I'm not married. Have a great weekend!

Notorious "Rehab" attendie, Amy Winehouse, has been spotted lately with well known bad boy and hotel room trasher, Pete Doherty. They were seen together the other night celebrating the fact that Pete had just gotten out of jail, and charges against Amy had been dropped. All I know is that rehab girl + bad boy = does not equal a good thing. And what the heck is on Pete's face???

Ellen and Portia de Rossi Soon To Wed!!!!!
California Supreme Court overturned the ban on gay marriage yesterday, and today Ellen will make a public announcement on her talk show that she and long time girlfriend Portia de Rossi plan to get married!!! We couldn't be happier for the couple, and we hope that Ellen will be dancing all the way down the aisle!!!

The Hills star has landed a role in the new movie, Into The Blue Too: The Reef. Does this mean that things have become tense with her BFF Lauren Conrad??? Audrina better not quit her day job anytime soon, sources say the movie is "straight to DVD". How sad!

Today's Topic: Haters
I think I've covered this topic before, but yesterday I had a conversation about "haters" with a good friend of mine and it got me thinking about it. I try to think of myself as a non-hater. Hate is such a strong word, such an ugly word. There are people in my life who have done bad things to me but I still don't hate them.
There's different types of haters... the haters I want to talk about today are the ones who hate because they don't have what you have. Maybe they hate on you because you have the great boyfriend, or the best job, or the perfect family. . . how is any of that your fault or a reason for them to hate. We must realize that they choose to hate because they are probably just jealous, unhappy, or they are lazy to work as hard as you did to get to where you're at. I've sat there and listened to them complain about how they didn't get that promotion at work and how Jill did and she's only been with the company for 1 year... etc. Maybe if they weren't wasting their time talking crap about other people, and if they were actually working hard to get to the next step... then they would have got that promotion instead of Jill. Hmm... ever think about that?
So if you have people like this in your life, I would say it's best to just ignore them. Don't ever surround yourself with people that will bring you down; negative people. Surround yourself with people that love you and are on your team! Friends who will have your back and you will have theirs. If you find that maybe you have been somewhat of a hater to someone else... step back and really think about why it is that you hate on them. . . I bet you'll realize that it has nothing to do with them but more to do with how you feel about your own life.

Vacation for Britney
ET reports that Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are currently on their way to Costa Rica together. They both left on a private plane this morning from Los Angeles. Sources claim that Mel is taking Brit and Daddy Spears for a weekend vacation. Britney's boys will not be joining her, because she needs approval to take them out of the country.
