Todays Topic: Top Things To Do This Summer

So every summer is the same for me, I always sit at home trying to think of new great things to do instead of sitting at home watching TV. So this year I found a really great list of things to do from citysearch.com and the best part is they are all in LA area! I'm seriously so excited I have all these new ideas, so I just wanted to share them with you. Hope you have a great weekend, I'll be at Knotts Berry Farm all day today so be sure to stop by if you are out at the park today!
xoxo,
Sisanie
Hollywood Bowl
2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Enjoy a pre-concert picnic on the gorgeous grounds of this Hollywood landmark. Seat prices begin at an unbelievable $1. The hottest tickets of the season: A sold-out Radiohead show, two nights with Motown legend Diana Ross and the Hollywood Bowl debut of Silver Lake native and worldwide music phenom Beck.
Dodger Stadium
1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA
Venture into the enormous Chavez Ravine to support the Big Blue Wrecking Crew in their bid for the league crown. Will former Yankee and new manager Joe Torre restore the Boys in Blue to their glory days? Batter up ...
Paradise Cove Beach Cafe
| Website
28128 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA
Spend the day at this private beach in Malibu, and then retire for a pina colada in the sand with the thong-and-sarong crowd. This SoCal summer staple is one of the few places in L.A. where you can legally booze right on the beach.
Santa Monica Pier
200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA
Thursday nights are all about the Twilight Dance Series featuring free live musical performances. The line-up has yet to be announced, but expect a mix of everything from swing and salsa to reggae and good ol' fashioned rock and roll.
Wally's Central Coast Wine and Food Celebration
Prominent winemakers host a gathering of great food and excellent wine to honor one of their own. Join everyone from top restaurants like the Hitching Post and Spago to cult wineries like L'Aventure and Turley for a gourmet day of sampling and sipping.
Hollywood Forever Cemetery
6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
May marks the beginning of the bi-weekly film fest, Cinespia, for movie buffs who also enjoy a little outdoor moribund fun. Guests are encouraged to bring full picnic dinners, including wine.
Catalina Island
Avalon, CA
In spite of the famous line in the Four Preps 1958 song, Santa Catalina is only 22 miles across the sea, not 26. This island of romance offers camping, fishing and free-roaming bison for L.A. adventurers.
Last Remaining Seats
Classic movies share the bill with modern vaudevillians in spectacular theater settings. This year's schedule features more modern favorites like "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Goldfinger."
Pageant of the Masters
Actors and props recreate famous works of art like the "Last Supper" in Laguna Beach's beautiful outdoor amphitheater. This year's theme is "All the World's a Stage" so expect everything from bronze Olympians to Shakespeare-inspired art.
A Chorus Line
One of the original meta-Broadway productions undergoes a 2008 revival, and despite its age, this musical doesn't need any work. That's right, it's one singular sensation ...

Sisanie I'm so glad that you posted these hot things to do this summer!!! I can't tell you how many times I have been in the same situation as you because I didn't know what I was going do on a HOT summer day! But now I do! :) What I am really interested in is the "Last Remaining Seats." I LUV the style of older films and theaters, so I know that this will be a hit for me this summer!
