Tiger Woods is going to be a daddy for the second time.
"Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late winter," the golf champ wrote on his official Website Tuesday.
"This has been a year of contrasts," Woods, 32, began. "I had a solid start to the season, won the U.S. Open in an exciting playoff, and then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery."
Continued the athlete: "And now, I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister."
Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, welcomed Sam Alexis Woods, in June 2007. The couple also revealed photos of the newborn - a week after her birth - on Wood's official site.

Palin's 17 year old daughter expecting as well

In yet another surprising development in the Republican presidential campaign, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin confirmed in a statement Monday that her 17-year-old daughter Bristol is five months pregnant.
Alaska governor Palin, who was selected to be John McCain's Vice President last week, said, "Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support."
Bristol plans to marry the father of the child, 18-year-old Levi Johnston, Palin continued in the statement. "Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."

90210 Premiere

So, how did the much hyped premiere for 90210 do?
It did pretty good. Very good, actually!
The new 90210 debuted last night at 34% higher than everyone's fav, Gossip Girl did. It has become the highest rated debut for a scripted series that the CW has ever received. The two hour premiere was viewed by over 4.9 million people and got a 2.6 rating among adults 18-40.
And that's great news for the CW as they've been depending on the success of the new show to secure their network. Many industry insiders feared that if the show wasn't a hit, the network might not have another year to try again.
But let's hope the show continues doing well. If people don't tune in next week, that could signal big problems for the network.

Spears mom set to release a book!

With one daughter as a teen mother and another who suffered a breakdown and lost custody of her kids, it seems like a good idea that Lynne Spears doesn't release her "parenting" book.
Instead, the book has taken a different turn.
The 53 year-old will soon be releasing a "tell-all" titled Lynne Spears: Through the Storm.
The book, which comes out on September 16th, will portray Lynne as a wonderful mom and will show her defending herself against the criticism that she's failed as a mother.
