So this is it! The American Idol Finale is tonight and I'm really excited to see which David wins it all! This is the first season that I have watched every single episode... no really I have! I knew from the very beginning that David Archuleta was going to make it to the end... after last night's performances he kind of convinced me that he could win this whole thing. Cook was good too . . . but it didn't really seem like his mind was totally there last night. He does have a lot going on with his brother having cancer and stuff, so I can see how that can make it difficult for him to focus or more emotional to perform.
So here's what I think... Cook can ROCK OUT! I would probably pay to see his concert. Archuleta is just adorable... super young but really marketable to a younger audience, kind of like another Jonas Brother... UHHHHH, I just don't know! Either way each one of them will have a career. I think in the end I'd like to see Cook win it. Archuleta is only 17 and has more years to develop to truly find out who he really is.
What goes up, must come down. I always like to think of my life as amazing! I mean, I really can't complain ... but sometimes life throws curve balls. I believe it's a higher power from up above. God has a plan for all of us and when he puts us in situations that seem odd or difficult it's because he's testing us to see how we deal with it. Do we freak out and give up when life gets too hard or do we gather all our strength and get through it.
We try to do what's right; what's best for us or for our families. Sometimes you may want something so bad but don't get it. Instead of dwelling on it, you have to look past it and move on. If you didn't get that promotion at work don't give up and think that was the only position you could have and there's nowhere for you to move up now. There's always another step; another door to open. I got said "NO" to a bunch of times before ever landing my job at KIIS. At times I would be so sad that I didn't get a certain job, and in my head I was really bummed thinking that was my only chance and now it's gone. Sooooooo Wrong! Everything happens for a reason, if it's meant to be then it will happen. That goes for a lot of things, work, kids, relationships, etc. When you feel like the world is against you and bad things keep happening and you don't know why. Just remember it's a test, a test to make you stronger. In the end you will not only grow from the experience but also learn so much more about yourself. Have a great day.

Happppy Monday Everyone! I had a pretty fun weekend. My really good friend Stephanie came to visit me and we went Shopping, went to a concert and saw Colby O'Donnis perform (I have video to come real soon...) and then also went out to a club. Yeaaaah we did all this on Saturday. But Sunday was my cleaning day. As you may or may not know, I am moving into a new place this weekend so, it's time to get rid of a lot of craaaaaaaaaap.
Are you a "pack-rat"? I used to be a lot worse, but living with my friend Taja this past year, she has taught me to let a lot of stuff go. Do I really need 5 candle holders or 10 bathroom towels? Think about all the extra stuff you have or have carried from house to house and you don't even use. Summer is coming up soon I think we should do some cleaning right? I got rid of 3 shopping bags of clothes tha****ook to my mom so she can donate it to needy people in Mexico. She goes there like every other weekend they can use all that clothes more than I could.
So try it... get a bunch of stuff that you don't use anymore, either donate it to Good Will, or hey if you need the money have a garage sale... I personally like having them I think its fun... kind of a lot of work but you can make some good money while you clean up too! Have a great Monday!
Happy Friday everyone! I am soooo ready for the weekend, how about you? It's gonna be nice and HOT! Yeaaaaah.... So sometimes it's hard for us to say what's on our mind, riiiiiight? We've all done it; danced around the truth or our true feelings about something or someone. It seems that the older I get, the more confidence I gain to really say what's on my mind. What do I have to lose? I'd rather put myself out there then always wonder... what if? It's still really tough though, you don't want to feel stupid if the outcome is not what you wanted. Nobody wants to get rejected.
I'm a very blunt and get to the point type of person. When it comes to men I pretty much know right off the bat if I want to pursue them or not. If I do... then I will! Is confidence intimidating?.... ehhhhhh it probably is. However, I think in the end a man will want a confident, outspoken woman, rather than .... well the opposite of that. I just don't see the point in playing games or beating around the bush. It's just a waste of time and in my opinion shows weakness and insecurity. Let's have some fun, take some risks and free-fall. Hey... I'm not dead and I'm not married. Have a great weekend!

I think I've covered this topic before, but yesterday I had a conversation about "haters" with a good friend of mine and it got me thinking about it. I try to think of myself as a non-hater. Hate is such a strong word, such an ugly word. There are people in my life who have done bad things to me but I still don't hate them.
There's different types of haters... the haters I want to talk about today are the ones who hate because they don't have what you have. Maybe they hate on you because you have the great boyfriend, or the best job, or the perfect family. . . how is any of that your fault or a reason for them to hate. We must realize that they choose to hate because they are probably just jealous, unhappy, or they are lazy to work as hard as you did to get to where you're at. I've sat there and listened to them complain about how they didn't get that promotion at work and how Jill did and she's only been with the company for 1 year... etc. Maybe if they weren't wasting their time talking crap about other people, and if they were actually working hard to get to the next step... then they would have got that promotion instead of Jill. Hmm... ever think about that?
So if you have people like this in your life, I would say it's best to just ignore them. Don't ever surround yourself with people that will bring you down; negative people. Surround yourself with people that love you and are on your team! Friends who will have your back and you will have theirs. If you find that maybe you have been somewhat of a hater to someone else... step back and really think about why it is that you hate on them. . . I bet you'll realize that it has nothing to do with them but more to do with how you feel about your own life.
Have a great Thursday.

Sisanie
