We went to the Paramount Pictures Lot for the premiere last night and there were so many celebs. I saw Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, Lindsay Lohan, All of the people from The Hills, cast from The Office, Heroes... I mean the list goes on. They didn't allow cameras in the theatre so I didn't bring mine:( After we were all settled ... the movie began.
Well all I can say is WOW!!!! I think my jaw was dropped this entire movie. I haven't seen a movie this good in a while. Talk about being on the edge of your seat the whole time. It had just the right amount of action, seriousness, horror, humor etc. Pretty much it was perfect! The whole movie is shot from the camcorders perspective but you get used to it...not as bad as how The Blair Witch Project was ya know?
We all got to go the after party and it was pretty cool. I've never really experienced anything like this. It was cool to meet some of you that won from the station. It seems like everyone had a really good time.
I give this movie 2 manicured thumbs up!

This is the only picture I took with my camera phone... it was at the entrance of the afterparty... it's the actual head of the Statue of Liberty they used in the movie! How cool is that!!!???
I think I've always been really lucky when it comes to roommates. My dorm roommate ended up being my best friend and roommate all 5 years of college...yes it took me 5 years lol...whhaaat I went to SDSU... you know they had party buses that picked us up on campus and took us to Mexico on the weekends for $12 round trip. HA.. okay I'm getting off subject here.
My roommate now is my other best friend, Taja. We've been friends ever since 7th grade. It's seriously the best living situation because we are so comfortable with each other, nothing ever really goes unsaid. I've had so many of my friends always come up to me complaining how they can't tell their roommate that it bugs them when they leave their socks in the living room, don't do the dishes etc.
Just like a relationship with a significant other, you should treat your roommate situation the same way. ALWAYS communicate! Even if it's a touchy subject and you don't know how your roommate will react it's better than suffering and holding it all in. Example: I told Taja the other day it really bothered me how she left her coffee cups piled up next to the sink... sometimes 3-4 would pile up... she said "oh, I'm sorry didn't realize that bothered you" and that was it! No more coffee cups. Don't be afraid to be who you are... I promise people will love and appreciate you for it!
Today's Topic: When is it to soon to call it LOVE?
The other day I received this email from a listener...
Is it bad to fall in love in 3 months after you known the person? I guess what I'm trying to say is I met this guy 3 months ago and we made it official after a month.... is it too soon to call it love yet?
My response was this:
NOOO WAY! If you know you love someone, then you know! HOWEVER...I think there is a difference between loving someone and being in love and being in love with the idea of being in love.
I know these first few months are so exciting and you probably spend every minute together because you want to and it feels good. My advice to you would be to still take it slow, if you fee like saying I LOVE YOU.... make sure you mean it. And always communicate!
Communication is KEY in a relationship. It's really important to always know how each person is truly feeling. Things go left unsaid and will only build up frustration and anger. Good luck and I'm so happy you found love:)
Omg... is it pay day yet?? One more day... Well this was a fun weekend. I went to San Diego Saturday after my on air shift here. I still work for another radio station in SD and it was our Company party. It was casino theme and there were about 20 of us that took a limo-party-bus to the Marriott in Del Mar. It was great to see my SD friends that I haven't seen in a while.
I won over $1800 in black jack (well it was fake money) but still really fun! Hahaa. My sister was my date and it was great to hang out with her. Sunday I watched the Chargers BEAT the Colts!!!! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh WHAT! Yes! Now they just need to beat the Patriots next week and it's ON! I hung out with my cute niece and had a great time just relaxing with my family. Hope you had a good one:)
So last night I hung out with the San Diego homie... Frankie J. We went to Ritual in Hollywood and had a great time. I met him in SD when I was living and working there. My friend Kalyna and I met him and his friend PJ there and we just kicked it at a table mostly talking about his next album. I'm so excited about his new music coming out... without giving too much away... his next single will be for sure loved by all ladies.
He was so cute, showing me pictures of his daughter 2, and son 7, who are by the way soooo adorable. We spent the last part of the night discussing how the Chargers are going to beat the Colts this weekend and then beat the Patriots ;) thus, are in the Super Bowl this year!!!! I would say expect something new from him at the end of February. Maybe sooner, ya never know!
