    Today's Topic: Women Saying's:

So the other day my intern found me these sayings.
This might help you guys ou****hought it was cute.
As much as I'd like to say, "I never use any of these sayings and that
I always say exactly what I mean", I can't! I'm so guilty for using many
of these sayings . . .some of them are soooo true. Enjoy!
    1. Fine :
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are
right and you need to shut up.
    2. Five Minutes :
If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour.
Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more
minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
    3. Nothing :
This is the calm before the storm. This means something,
and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing
    usually end in fine.
    4. Go Ahead :
This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
    5. Loud Sigh :
This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement
often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an
idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing
with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)
    6. That's Okay :
This is one of the most dangerous statements a women
can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard
before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
    7. Thanks :
A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say
    you're welcome.
    8 . Whatever :
Is a women's way of saying F YOU!
    9. Don't worry about it, I got it :
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has
told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will
later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response
    refer to #3.

    Today's Topic: First Date Rules

So my friend is so excited because she met this great guy and is about to go on her first date with him.  She's a little nervous buy mostly just ready. . . She hasn't been out on a date in forever.  She asked me last night... "Should a man have to pay for dinner on a first date? Is this a sign of weakness on a woman's behalf?" Okay it's 2008 and rules like that are not important.  Although it would be nice if a man got the tab on the first date, I don't think it's necessary.  I also don't think it shows weakness on a woman's behalf either.

Here's how I see it . . . sometimes the guy may not be financially stable to pay for the entire bill.  But I also don't think you should go to a super fancy restaurant either.  When I was in college I would usually always split the bill with my dates.  We were both strapped for cash and it just made it easier.  Now that we're older it makes more sense for the guy to grab the bill.  If he does, we woman should thank him and not look into it as them dominating us with their power to pay for dinner. The first date is an important one... you both want to impress one another, so maybe he grabs the meal, then you get the movie tickets or dessert later on.  Never talk about your ex, and never talk about children or marriage on the first date.  If you keep it simple and just have some fun you should be okay.

    Today's Topic: Impotent Men

So today I am going to share an email with you that was sent to me over the weekend.  I don't know what great advice I can give on this matter . . . I've never dealt with a situation like this, but maybe your comments can help too.

    Dear Sisanie,

What do you do after you have been dating someone for two months and was waiting to have sex. But then found out that he is impotent.  Please help me, I don't know what to do, he even said he has medicine but it doesn't seem to be working.

    Sincerely,

    Confused

    Dear Confused,

Well this is definitely one of the most unique emails I have ever received.  It seems like a very frustrating situation and I guess it all comes down to how much you really care about his guy.  I could just imagine that after waiting two months you'd be excited to take your relationship to the next level only to be disappointed when you find this out about your man.

Maybe in his mind, he was just hoping...just wishing, that something would work for him. Should he have told you about this?  Yes I think so, but I bet he was thinking it would be different with you because he really loves you or cares about you.

I'm sorry you have to deal with a situation like this because it's difficult. You don't want to discontinue seeing a man your in love with/or have strong feelings for because he can't have sex...yet at the same time, you know you may need that physical attention in the future, and it's something he can't provide.

You just have to sit down and realize what you really need. Is being just in love enough for you? Some people can continue relationships without physical contact, others can't. I know for me personally it would be a struggle. You just have to look at the situation and see if the love you two have for one another is something that is far more important than sex alone.

    Good luck,

    Sisanie

    Today's Topic: Weekend Wrap Up!

Well what an exciting weekend this was.  First of all... I hope all you dad's had a great Fathers' Day.  It was so great to spend some time with my daddy over the weekend.  I was back in my hometown this weekend and it was so much fun. I met up with some of my best girl friends and we had a blast going out Saturday Night in Seal Beach.  I gotta tell ya, it feels so good to come back to my parent's house... it just feels like home. And sleeping in my old room, well that's kinda weird...lol.

My little nephew, Noah turned 2 so all my family was over at my brothers Saturday, then Sunday my parents had a BBQ for Fathers' Day.  The real highlight of my entire weekend was going to the LAKERS - GAME 5!  I went with my brother-in-law who is a Celtics fan... BOOOO! It's a good thing we won 103 - 98.  What a great experience to just be there and witness such a fantastic game.  I loved every minute of it.  Let's tie it up tomorrow Lakers!!!

Today's Topic: Cheesy Pick up Lines

Ughhhh... do guys really think that cheesy lines work on us? Well maybe that's what you're into but not me.  So I was recently out with all my girls and this guy used the cheesiest line on me, I called him out right then and there.  Maybe I set myself up for it but it still doesn't give him an excuse to be so corny

Okay... so there was like some Missy Eliot song on and you know how it gets all Arabian sounding... well I was acting kinda silly and started dancing with my hands over my head like I was a genie...  (trust me I looked cool doing it).  Anyway, he comes up and goes... are you ready......  "Can I make a wish?"

Wow!!! The best part was that I didn't hear him the first time because the music was so loud so he had to say it again, just making it sound even more lame.  Awww I did give him props for the creativity of the line but sorry it didn't work on me.   Moral of the story, guys don't use the cheesy pick up lines just talk normal to us. Have a great weekend.

    Xoxo,

    Sisanie
