Isn't it the worst when someone breaks your trust? Whether they break your heart, lied to you or left you hangin' some how... there comes a time where you either have to choose to forgive and move on or hold on to a grudge. I believe in forgiving. Yesss, it's super tough and depending on what they did to you it can only make it harder for you to forgive someone that really hurt you, but it's better to forgive, I'm not saying you have to forget. I will never forget but I just don't see the point in hating someone.
There have been people in my life who really have hurt me, made me cry and made me feel so bad about myself. It's not like I totally forgave them the next day. Forgiveness takes time. It may be days, weeks, or even years when you forgive someone. If you find yourself reading this and you've been holding a grudge or haven't forgave someone for something that they did to you. Think about how important they are to you. What if they weren't here tomorrow, would you feel bad that you never tried to work things out? All I'm saying is... Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.
Just something to think about . . . have a great day.
Alright... I finally saw Sex and the City last night and looooooved it! I'm totally going to talk about it so if you haven't seen it, DON'T READ TODAY'S BLOG. It will ruin the movie for you. Sorrrry.
Okay so the minute the theme song started in the beginning I got even more excited then I already was and the entire theater started cheering and clapping!! So I knew that some drama was going to happen at Big and Carrie's wedding, I can't believe he said that to her minutes before they were about to walk down the isle... I was hoping that when they stopped in the middle of the street they were going to work it out and in my head I was like "its okay... now go get married"! And maaaaaaaaan how bad did she look when they get to Mexico and she looks in the mirror. Oh and can we talk about Charlotte crappppppin her pants ... hahahah best laugh of the entire movie!
I can't belive Steve cheated on Miranda and did anyone else think that Smith aged sooooo much. He's still super hot but I'm happy that Samantha moved back to NY. How efffed up is it that Miranda kept that secret from Carrie for 6 months, but the restaurant that they go eat at for Valentine's Day was the best ever... haha with all those balloons. I love how Charlotte goes into labor while she's yelling at Big....(oh I just remembered how funny she also looks after she puts crying Carrie back into the limo and she walks back around in her long tight black dress... ahaha). I loved the ending how Big suprises her with her girls at City Hall. Over all I give this movie an A++++++++! I laughed, I cried, I laughed, I cried again... it was AMAZING!!!! I want to see it over and over :)
Okay... so Sadao and I got the airport around 5:30am Friday. Of course he forgets his iPod is in his pocket when we go through security and he gets extra inspected... I was waiting for security to make him strip down to his boxers but that didn't happen... so we get on the plane and meet our lovely winners!!! Janisha and her mom Leticia. About three hours later we arrived in Canada! Our hotel was amazing, way modern and nice. We had a few hours to kill so Sadao and I drove around and found the local Top-40 Radio Station. It's called 98.5 VIBE. There staff was real cool and happy that we stopped by. So then it was time to have dinner at Raw Bar and get ready for the Kanye West Concert. Before our limo picked us up I did a quick LIVE interview their local TV Station, then we had a blast at the Kanye West - Glow in the Dark Tour. We experienced a real western bar called Cowboys then went to another place called The Wiskey... Our hostess for the weekend, Jen was way cool and introduced us to all her friends which we hung out with all weekend long too. She works for Tourism Calgary and showed us a great time!
DAY 2
Mmmm Breakfast at Avenue Diner was great! Then we were off to White Water Rafting... Yeah the out fits were pretty funny looking but this was probably my favorite part of the whole trip. Sadao was the first to fall out of the boat but heeeyy it was a pretty big rapid that we went over. I was kinda scared then his head popped up and we got him back in the boat. The water was FREEEEEEEZING, but the overall experience was sooo worth it! We grabbed some dinner then we were off for a fun night on the town. A total of 3 clubs and we walked right into every single one. Melrose Bar had this really cool drink called the fishbowl, yeaah we have pics. Tantra was kind of like an LA club except for it was like 1000 degrees inside. And then we went to Yard House where we were kinda stranded because it was impossible to get a taxi back to the hotel so we walked about 15 blocks ... (I was in 3 inch heals).
DAY 3
So we had a fantastic buffet breakfast at the Palliser which is another really nice hotel. Then we visited the Calgary Tower... I forget how high it was in the air but 1000's of feet for sure. I have some pretty cool pics you have to check them out! They had a glass floor. We then went the spa and got pampered for about 3 hours. We then ate some lunch and then checked out of our hotel. We got to the airport then found out our flight was delayed about 4 hours! Bummmmmmmmer! The trip was going soooo well. We got back to LAX around 1am.. And that was it! I had such an amazing time and would totally recommend visiting Calgary, Alberta. For sure hit up Tourism Calgary and have them show all the fun stuff you can do. Thank you again to our Hostess Jen!!!!
So it was reported that George Clooney and his super young GF, Sarah Larson have broken up. Clooney who is 47 and Larson who is 29 had a . . . what is that . . . an 18 year age difference. Now I don't know about you but that is a big age gap. You think that's why they split up? Was George going through a mid-life crisis when he met Sarah and now he's just over it?
It got me thinking what my age limit/max is. I just think that I wouldn't have anything in common with someone that old. How will they know that I loved to play with a Skip-It when I was a kid, or that I used to hold Pog-Championships in my front yard? Did they collect Garbage Pale Kid Stickers? I don't know, I guess I won't know if I can be compatible with someone a lot older than me, unless if I actually try it. My best friend Tori's parents have a 20 year age gap and they are still happily married.
Now here's the thing, I've always liked me an older guy... I believe in the theory that men are 2 years immature than their actual age. So if they are 24, they act 22 or younger. I guess anywhere from 8-10 years would be my cut-off. And I would prefer it if they guy wasn't younger than me. What's your limit/max? Haha.. I sound so picky, I guess in the end though if you're in love age is just a number.
Xoxo

PS.
OMG!!! I leave for Canada tomorrow Morning at like 7am!! I'm flying out with my good friend Sadao. We are sooooo excited. I can't wait to see Kanye West tomorrow night at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Have you ever been to Canada? Okay so I heard that the weather might be kinda rainy all weekend. That's kind of a bummer... but it will still be fun. Hey after 3pm today, I'M ON VACATION! That's always a good feeling!!!
So yesterday I was really concerned for one of my reallllly good friends. She was really sad because she didn't get this promotion at work. Not only that, but a bunch of other things went wrong yesterday for her too so it was just a super bad day. I told her that things would be better and she can't dwell on the negative.
I was so happy to talk to her this morning and see that she was in a much better mood. I asked her if she was feeling better and she said yes. I asked her why she was so much happier and she said because she allowed herself to be mad and sad yesterday but told herself that when she wakes up today she was going to be happy and forget about all the bad.
I was so impressed with her attitude! Sometimes things don't go our way, or bad things happen... it's okay to be sad and cry, we're human. But it's also good to know when to let go of the sadness and become happy again. So if you need to be sad... BE SAD, cry and let it all out. I know that it totally makes me feel better, but remember that tomorrow is a new day and when one door closes, another will soon open.
