Girl Talk with Sis... "The Za-Za-Zoom"

Friday, October 17, 2008, 10:36 AM PST [Girl Talk With SIS]

    Today's Topic: "The Za-Za Zoom"

Ladies, how many of you know what I'm talking about???  Last night I was watching another re-run of Sex and the City and it was the episode where they go to the Hamptons because Richard let Samantha throw a party at his house. (‘Member Samantha throws the cantaloupe at those bimbos and it breaks that big window! LOL)  Annnnyway, Carrie kept talking about feeling "The Za-Za Zoom" with someone.

I believe it's the butterflies, the giddiness . . . the sparks you feel when you start dating someone.  Or it could that person that for some reason you can't escape.  No matter what happens in either one of your lives, you seem to always cross paths again or always have that Za-Za Zoom!

I love it! It's real and uncontrollable!  I know you feel it with someone - think about it!  Have a great weeknd!

    Xoxo,

    Sisanie

Girl Talk with Sis... "Why do men cheat?"

Thursday, October 16, 2008, 11:01 AM PST [Girl Talk With SIS]

Today's Topic: Why do Men Cheat?

Blaaaaah, I still don't understand why men cheat?  Yesterday, Ryan's Roses was like sssuuuuuper intense! Homeboy cheated on his pregnant girl!!!!! I truly . . . in my heart believe that once you are a cheater, you will always be a cheater.

Maybe it's the thrill of sneaking around.  I'm sure its addicting to push your limits and I guess they figure if they haven't been caught, what's the harm in doing it again and again.  If you're over your girlfriend or wife man up and end it!!  It's so sad and it really frightens me to ever get married.  I don't know what I would do if my man cheated on me.  I would feel so betrayed and just stupid!

Cheaters - you need some counseling!  It's one thing to cheat in general but when you are married with kids...c'mon!!!  Is it a disease they can't control?  Is that what it is?  I wish I had an answer as to why men cheat, but sorry I don't because my mind doesn't even think that way.  Adios!

    Xoxo,

    Sisanie

So JoJo Jam Tour was exactly a week ago.  I wish I was able to go out with them to every school but obviously I couldn't since I had to be here at the station.  However, I did make it out to the final stop at Universal City Walk.  Check out my JoJo Jam Tour Re-cap :)

Girl Talk with Sis..."Educate Yo' Self!"

Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 10:53 AM PST [Girl Talk With SIS]

    Today's Topic: "Educate Yo' Self!"

Alright, so this is my 2nd Presidential Election to vote in.  It feels good to have an opinion on decisions for our country.  Maybe you're going to flip back and forth from the Dodger game and the debate...That's cooooo.  But I would say if you are old enough to vote.... take some time and educate yourself on the direction you believe you want this country to go.

Sometimes politics can get sticky especially when you have different views than some of your loved ones.  We are so lucky to live in a country that allows us those choices.  Given our country's current situation  . . . it only makes this election that much more important!   Let your voice be heard... MAKE SURE YOU VOTE NOVEMBER 4th!!!!!!!  If you don't vote, you have no room to complain about the outcome.  Holllllaaaa

Girl Talk with Sis... "You Can't Get Mad..."

Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 10:58 AM PST [Girl Talk With SIS]

    Today’s Topic: “You Can’t Get Mad…”

Okay so over the weekend, I had a few friends over and on Sunday, which was our lazy day, we were all just kinda laying around the house, not doing much but watching TV and napping periodically.  Well, let’s just say I got woken up to my favorite sculpture that I bought in Costa Rica lying on the floor in shattered into a bunch of pieces.

I could see the look in my friends eyes that said, “I am sooooo sorrrrrry!”  I mean, I was so sad… I loved this piece of art.  She offered to pay me… but it wasn’t about the money.  It was a one of a kind piece of art.  I was an Art major in college so my appreciation for artwork is on a whole different level then others.  So I accepted it… it broke… and I was probably not going to be able to fix it.  There’s no real point in getting upset, especially at my friend.  It was an accident and I just had to realize that even though it was a one of kind piece of artwork that was by the way very expensive… it’s still a materialistic thing that I could evidently live without.

So don’t sweat the small stuff- life is too short.  Especially with all these fires happening either in our cities or neighboring cities…  We gotta not get mad about materialistic things and love and appreciate the people that we are so lucky to have in our lives.

    Xoxo,
    Sisanie

Girl Talk with Sis... "My Weekend Wrap-Up"

Monday, October 13, 2008, 10:39 AM PST [Girl Talk With SIS]

    Today’s Topic: “My Weekend Wrap-Up”

Well was anyone else excited of how windy and kinda cold this weekend was?  Yaaay it’s finally starting to feel like Fall! As some of you may or may not know… it’s Fashion Week in LA right now.  So Friday Night I went to a show with my friend Sadao.  It was my second fashion show ever.  I sat 3rd row and enjoyed every moment of it.

Saturday my friends came and visited me and we went out!  There’s something about hanging out with friends that you’ve known since middle school! Yes, we are still friends and whenever we get a chance to hang out there is never a dull moment.  Our pictures pretty much speak for themselves.

Sunday was another “Lazy Sunday”.  Maaaaaaannnn . . . gotta love those. I re-watched the Sex and the City movie for like the 5th time, had brunch with freinds and then watched the Chargers demolish the Patriots! Yaaaaaay . . .  what a great weekend!

    Xoxo,
