Mariah Goes #1
Mariah Carey's latest single "Touch My Body" just went #1 on the Billboard Singles Chart. This is the 18th single to hit the top spot for Mariah and puts her ahead of Elvis. She's now only second to The Beatles.
So last night David Cook was taken to the hospital after he performed on American Idol. He felt heart palpitations, a source confirms. Cook was treated for high blood pressure and released back to the Idol apartments where he was "doing fine," the source says.
The election is over everyone! It's time to pack up and go home. Feminist hero Heidi Montag is endorsing John McCain! Obviously, this influential endorsement will give him the win.
She told UsWeekly, "I'm voting for John McCain. I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience. I don't think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for."
Things between Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are getting serious.....again. Gatecrasher reports that Kate is apartment hunting in NYC and wants Owen to live with her.
Katherine Heigl is ready to start reproducing right now! She talked to the Sunday Times about when she's going to start popping out little Heigls with her husband, Josh Kelly. Katherine said, "I think we're both on such a career trajectory right now, it would be foolish to waste the opportunities. I think he'd prefer to wait a little more time, but I kind of wouldn't, so I think we'll meet somewhere in the middle."
One of Heath Ledger's estranged uncles claims that the late actor may have fathered a love child when he was a teenager, according to a report in Sydney's Daily Telegraph.
When he was just 17 years old, Ledger reportedly dated a 25-year-old woman - who discovered she was pregnant after the relationship ended and later gave birth to baby girl. Although the woman was living with another man at the time, Ledger's uncle Hadyn claimed to the paper, "There is a very real possibility that Heath was the father."
Fergie celebrates her 33rd birthday in style - literally, in Dolce & Gabbana - during a bash Thursday at the Revolution Lounge inside Las Vegas's Mirage Hotel & Casino. And the singer had no problem sharing the spotlight - the party was a co-celebration with director Quentin Tarantino (not pictured).

Katie's Bound for Broadway
Katie Holmes is rumored to be in the final stages of claiming a part in the broadway show All My Sons. She may be playing the role of a neighbor to a family that has a missing family member that is a pilot in WWII. A theatre guru said that "This play will be like a shop window for Katie. The aim is to remind people of her acting chops. It's kind of a neat idea." We'll we'll be rooting for ya girl!
