Lily Allen Blogs About Her Feelings 

The indie English singer recently went to the web to express her feelings about the recent event that took place at the GQ awards between her and Sir Elton John. Allen said in her blog, "I'm not defending my drunkeness because i don't need to, i'm 23 it was an awards ceremony i drank the free champagne, how awful of me." She went on to say, "Trying to create a feud on the other hand, and trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair, Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all, infact neither of us gave it a second thought." Well good for her that Elton isn't PO'd by her actions that night. It still doesn't change the fact that it looked sloppy! Even if drinks are free you don't have to take a ton, oh well Lily will hopefully learn her ways soon.

 If there's one person who gets a pregnant teen, it's Jamie Lynn Spears.

Britney Spears' little sis is reaching out to Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, John McCain's vice presidential pick.

A source close to the Beverly Hills baby store Petit Tresor tells CelebTV.com exclusively that a gift from Plain Mary was sent to Bristol Palin on behalf of Jamie Lynn Spears.

An insider says it was actually Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn's mom, who called about the gift, and requested the gift come from her daughter.

"It was ordered by phone, and they asked what could be done for under $100. They spent $60 on pink burp cloths," said the source.

The Stars come out to kick off the NFL Season

Usher, Keith Urban and Natasha Bedingfield are kicking off the NFL season with a free concert that's expected to draw thousands to Manhattan's Columbus Circle.

They are scheduled to perform Thursday afternoon. A video about the Super Bowl champion New York Giants will be shown before the NFL Kickoff show.

Spears set to open the VMA's

Britney Spears will kick off the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, the network announced and Access Hollywood confirmed on Wednesday.

And the pop star couldn't be happier. "MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?" Britney said in a statement to MTV. "I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated."

Her manager, Larry Rudolph, later confirmed the news to Access.

Who can forget her Performance at last years show....I'm sure we're in for a treat!

John McCain Picks Sarah Palin as Running Mate

John McCain added to the historic nature of the 2008 presidential race Friday by picking Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, according to reports - only the second woman ever to appear on a major-party presidential ticket.

Palin, 44, beat out a host of better-known candidates for the nod, including Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts, Homeland Security secratary Tom Ridge (also the former governor of Pennsylvania), and Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut.

David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction, his lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the actor says in an exclusive statement. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
