The L.A. County D.A. just rejected the case on grounds of insufficient evidence. He is not off scot-free. Shia will almost certainly have his license suspended because he refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. Steve Whitmore from the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept tells us Shia's DMV hearing is tomorrow."

Hayden's daddy heading to jail??
Hayden Panettiere's father, Alan, has been formally charged with misdemeanor battery after he allegedly assaulted his wife last month, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Panettiere, 49, faces arraignment on Oct. 11. If convicted, he faces up to a year in county jail.

I previously mentioned that many folks felt like David Blaine 'cheated' his way through his 3 day, 60-hour hanging stunt over New York's Central Park because he took multiple right side up breaks during the endeavor. At least one an hour. Sometimes more!
The 'magician' was booed by onlookers at the big, ceremonial 'conclusion' event of his 'death defying' hanging stunt in New York City last night.

Lance Bass speaks out about Clay Aiken
Support continues to pour in for Clay Aiken, who publicly acknowledges he's gay in the upcoming issue of PEOPLE. His latest well-wisher: Lance Bass, who came out on the cover of PEOPLE two years ago.
"I'm happy for him," says Bass, 29. "It's good to see someone actually being true to who they are. I think it's something that's nice to share with the world, because it really does relieve a lot of pressure off of you."
The former 'N Sync-er (who is currently on Dancing with the Stars) adds that he believes Aiken will "live his life the way he wants to live it and that's the best advice I can give him."

Following the Aug. 8 birth of his son Parker, singer Clay Aiken is following through on a promise he made to himself as a new dad: to publicly acknowledge that he's gay.
"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."
Aiken says he expects the news may overwhelm some of his fans.

Mandy Moore has jetted to DJ AM's bedside as he continues to recover from burns sustained in this weekend's devastating plane crash.

David Blaine's 'hanging upside down for 60 hours' stunt is sprinkled with lots of right side up breaks!
People who made an effort to see Blaine in Central Park, We're surprised to only catch him during one of these 'breaks'.
