Hi everyone! Here is just a little bit about us. We are High School Sweethearts and have been together for 7 1/2 years. We would Absolutely Love to get Married! We have talked about it for some time now, but we have been waiting for the Right Time and it Finally seems to be Here!!! We are madly in love and couldn't imagine not being together. We have known each other since the ninth grade and have been inseperable since! Before we became a couple we would hang out Every weekend. Looking back at it, its seems soo cute that my friends and I would always figure out some kind of excuse to call him and his friends, or just randomly stop by. LOL!! What a girl won't do for love:)
And now that we are a couple, we never spend a day apart and we wouldn't change that for the world. We have soo much fun together, there is never a dull moment. We Absolutely Love Road Trips and Las Vegas. We always finish each others sentences, which we get a Huge Kick out of. We really couldn't be better for each other. I think its the most awesome thing that we have grown together and taught each other so much. I have shown him that he really loves animals and gardening, when he would have never thought so before he met me ;) I'm a complete animal and nature lover. And Ryan has taught me everything there is to know about painting and its actually pretty interesting, not to mention I could Now paint a house (correctly) by myself if I wanted to :) I truly believe that we are sole mates. Our Love for each other only grows Stronger Each and Every Day.
My best friend has been married for several years now and I am jealous of her in a Completely Good Way. She is happily married with 3 children, which are my God children. They are so adorable, and they have taught me how much I love kids and how amazing it will be to become parents. This is another reason I would love to get married. I am going to wait to get married before I get pregnant, and I hope its not too much longer.
My Grandma Sarah, (who I am named after!) has wanted us to get married for a while now. She sees how perfect we are for each other and she wants to be able to see our wedding and our children. And with her age and health we really might not have too long. I have lost both of my grandpas, so this would mean more than anything for me for both of my grandmas to be at my wedding. They are both in their 80's :)
I am a Full Time College Student that received my AA last year and I work part time at Hallmark Card Store. While Ryan works full time as a painter. He has been trying real hard to get a County job for a while now, so that we can get money saved for a wedding, but it is a very long process unfortunately, but we know its gonna pay off. Both of our parents paid for their own wedding and we really don't want to ask them to help pay for ours. I don't want them to feel that they need to either. My mother just turned 60 and she wants to retire soon, so this would really be hard on her.
Ryan has lived with us in my parents house for the past 6 years and everything is going great, but we are getting to the age where we need our Own Place : ) We are so ready to do this, but we need all of your help to win us THE PERFECT WEDDING!! Your PERFECT Engagement
Our Perfect engagement was on 7-7-07. We were in Las Vegas and the day started out nice. Soo many couples were getting married, there were brides and grooms all around us. 7-7-7 was supposed to be lucky, so Ryan and I tried out a few slot machines. We weren't doing very well, so we decided to split up. Little did I know that Ryan went around the corner and hit a jackpot. He went straight over to the ring shop they have located in the hotel and purchased a ring. He met back up with me and didn't mention a thing about the ring or hitting a jackpot. Later that night he asked me how I did and then I asked him. Thats when he told me I would make him the luckiest guy alive if I would just say YES. Thats when he pulled out the ring. Of course I said yes...It was the cutest thing ever. After that he told me about winning the jackpot and I was thrilled, about Everything!! We had been waiting so long for this moment!
She's PERFECT because
She is Very Understanding and Very Hard Working. She never fails to have a smile on her face, no matter what is going on. She does this by living by the quote "Everything is a miracle its just how you look at things" and she really does look at everything this way. She is always there to give positive motivation and she loves animals and nature which shows the genuine side of her. And I can't forget to mention her beautiful blue eyes!
He's PERFECT because
Everything about him makes him perfect to me, but I'll list a few things that are on the top of my mind, because I really could go on forever :) He loves all of the same things that I do. We get along great and he is the most caring person ever. He is always making sure I am taken care of and he appreciates that I work hard in school. Plus, he loves animals and nature, which is hard to find in a guy ;) He also loves to take road trips which is a favorite of mine!! He is my Best Friend. I can tell him everything!!
Your dream for the PERFECT life together
Our dream for the PERFECT life together would be to have 3 children and to stay together forever. We have always wanted to live on a nice Farm, to get the full experience of owning horses and other large animals like that. We think that this would be totally awesome, and this way we would have enough room for all of our animals ;) And we would also like to live near both of our parents, so that are kids could be near their grandparents.
Our perfect wedding colors will be
Light Blue and White. I have always wanted a Winter themed wedding. One reason is that we Love the Christmas Season and the other reason is that Blue is my Favorite Color!!
The perfect wedding flowers will be
Pink and White Hybrid Lily's. They are our absolute favorite. We grow them in Our garden every year, they are gorgeous. I also love Plumeria.

A mixture of everything. I want something for everyone. I especially love the oldies.

My mother, who will then make me brake down in tears. I know this because It happened at my College graduation ;) My first time ever crying from being happy. Once I saw her I couldn't help myself!

Two more days left of announcing finalist.....We still have hope and were keeping our fingers crossed!! Thanks everyone for your comments. This whole contest has made us realize how many special times we have had together over the past 9 years. Weve been pulling out all of the old photos and videos. And now we have a new experience to look back on. To bad we forgot our camera like always, so we didn't get any pictures of il cielo, but everything else went great. We really learned to work as a team, getting ready for the interview. We were both so nervous the whole week before the interview, but by the time we got there we were just nervous that we might not win :0 This would mean so much to us and our families. Again we want to thank KIIS FM soo much for having this contest. We would also like thank all of our new friends for their support. We have made many wonderful new friends through this contest and will continue to keep in contact with all of them!!
I also wanted to let everyone know that I started school at the University of La Verne and I Love it!! If anyone ever has the opportunity, I would totally recommend this school. It has a beautiful campus and the people are all real nice! I've also heard alot of good stuff about it from many different people, including one of the judges from this contest. I love to hear these comments, it makes me look forward to it that much more. And after hearinng that they have such a good communications program, I decided to make this my major!! And we also wanted to let everyone know that Ryan Got His Job at the County!!!! We are now on our way to starting our lives together!
We are so excited for the finalist to be announced. We are gonna be up Bright and Early to hear the first couples announced!! Were keeping our fingers crossed that we are going to hear our names get called!! We went to our Interview on Friday and We Had So Much Fun!!! We were so excited all week. We couldn't wait for the day of our interview. And our experience at il Cielo didn't let us down at all. It was Soo Beautiful. They had paintings on the ceiling and it was set up so elegant. We absolutely Loved the place! The judges were All Soo Nice and made us feel really comfortable! The way they had it set up was perfect! They had the whole interview set up so cute and they actually taped the whole thing! They said that the finalists videos will be posted on KIIS's website. We are excited to see who they are going to pick and to check out all of the videos. We were reading the blogs of a few of the couple that got interviews and everyone seemed to share one thing in common: Everyone was nervous : ) This should make the videos extra fun to watch ; ) We really want to THANK KIIS for making this possible. We now have another awesome story to share with all of our friends and family.
The finalist are announced starting Tuesday, so wish us luck. And again, we Really want to Thank Everyone for their support!!! Don't Forget to Vote Daily ;)
Guess what.... KIIS Called Us and wants to interview us!!! They said that they have a few more questions to ask us about our Wedding Page!!!!!! We are Soo Excited!! We got the message our last day on vacation. We usually try to push it and stay as long as we can in Vegas, but this is the First time Ever that we actually Rushed home to see what KIIS wanted : ) We were in complete shock, especially since we knew nothing about the calling couples. We have an appointment today and we are so happy, but so nervous. We actually get to go to il cielo to check it out. This means so much to us...Please Wish Us Luck!! When we get back, I'll post a new blog to let everyone know how it went.
