We are so excited to be chosen as one of the top 20. This whole contest has been an absolute blast for us! It has been so much fun going through all our old and new memories and knowing that we are going to continue to make more new ones!!! It has brought us closer together working as a team on getting this page all set up and getting our memories out. We feel like we are falling in love for the first time all over again. Thank you to Kiis FM, El Cielo, The Judges and all of the sponsors!!! We are so excited!!!
A little background -
Jon and I have been together 7 years in December. We met while working a graveyard inbound telemarketing job when we were both 19 years old. When we first met Lauren already had our oldest daughter Destiny. Jon came into our lives as a guardian angel to watch over us. Jon took over the responsibility for Destiny and has been there for her as a father since she was only about 8 months or so. We have and continue to grow in our love for each other. When we first met it was really love at first sight. We started spending more and more time with each other, at first we would just go on breaks together and we would talk on the phone for hours even about absolutely nothing. Next we started hanging out outside of work and spending every moment together, Jon would come over to my house and help me take care of Destiny during the day. We would both be so exhausted from the night of working that we would take turns getting in naps. Shortly after Jon moved into my parents house with Destiny and I and things went serious pretty quickly after that. We knew early on that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and were madly in love...and wanted to have a bigger family together. After a year went by Jon asked me to marry him (officially), he had been asking me to marry him almost since the day we met...it just feels so right and comfortable when we are toghether..and feels so wrong and uncomfortable and we feel so lost when we aren't together. We found out we were pregnant with our 2nd daughter shortly after we got engaged and were ecstatic!!! We couldn't wait to have our baby together..and we realized having another baby would put our wedding plans on hold for a while as our babies would come first. We had Faith in 2002, and she is another light of our lives.. Destiny and Faith have such a good relationship and they are the most wonderful girls either of us could ever ask for!!! They bring so much joy to our lives!!! A while after Faith was born; Jon and I moved into our very first apartment and began sharing our lives together as a family. We are ready to say I do to each other and share this with our loved ones. We can't afford a wedding on our own right now as we are not financially set for one and neither are either of our parents. Lauren really wants to have all of her family on the East coast (all of her dad's side) come down and enjoy her marriage as well..Jon and I can't wait to finally get married and have more babies!!!
